The recipe that changed overnight
Our girls were on a big-name, "Dalmatian-friendly" food. Then the recipe quietly changed — no announcement, just two poorly dogs and a forum full of owners saying exactly the same thing.
We are two Dalmatian parents living in Bristol, UK, who are a little jaded by the difficulties in finding good dog food for our pooches.
This isn't a brand that decided Dalmatians were a nice niche. It's two people who got let down by the food they trusted and decided to fix it themselves.

Dalmatians can have a gene that changes how they process purines, which can make them prone to urate crystals and stones — especially on a high-purine diet. A DNA test can tell you about your own dog, but a purine-controlled diet from the start is a simple way to help reduce the risk.
So, after some rather gross (oooh - yes, both ends) experiences, we've flipped the narrative - a brand for Dalmatians (and pooches with urinary issues) which is enjoyable for all; rather than a generic food that owners have to spend nights trawling the ingredients of.
We're not vets — but we're not doing this alone. Our recipes are developed with a qualified animal feed nutritionist and industry professionals. Always check with your own vet, especially if your dog has a diagnosed condition. What we will do is tell you exactly what's in the bowl — and email you before anything ever changes.
Ingredients chosen for Dalmatians, not adapted afterwards.
We manufacture in the UK so we are involved in every step.
If it doesn't pass with Pandora and Arlo, it doesn't get sold.
Any change to any recipe gets emailed to every customer before it ships.
Two sisters, one year old. Both velcro dogs, both snuggle monsters, both brilliant with kids — raised on rewards, routine and a ridiculous number of walks. Everything we make is tested on them first.
The diva. Half-deaf, fully dramatic, outgoing, over-excited and into everything — usually the one in trouble, always the first one on your lap. The reason we needed a collar that buzzes.
The softie. A very cute coward who hides behind your legs when the world gets loud — then quietly chews a bed to bits. Snuggle monster (it's a tie). The reason we're on bed number six.
Take the survey — it takes less than three minutes. Everyone who completes it gets a discount when they place their first order, and the first 100 also get a free snack ball for their pooch with that order!
